The Real Estate Research Institute (RERI) would like to encourage research-oriented graduate students to attend its annual research conference to be held May 4-5, 2022 at DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois. You are invited to nominate one graduate student to receive a student travel award. The ideal candidates are advanced masters or doctoral students who want to increase their understanding of real estate research issues and build a network within the real estate research community.
RERI’s Research Conferences feature presentations of funded papers, which have been selected on the basis of their contributions to real estate investment decision-making. Conference attendees are among the top academic researchers and practitioners in the institutional real estate industry. By attending the conference, students will have opportunities to hear from and speak with these respected individuals, potentially stimulating new ideas that will aid in the formulation of a research topic.
Real estate academics may nominate one student. RERI will select approximately ten students to attend its 2022 annual research conference. Each student attendee will receive up to $1,000 to reimburse travel expenses. Once the conference concludes, each recipient must submit all travel-related receipts to the RERI office in order to be reimbursed.

The deadline for submission of all materials is FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 4, 2022.
You are also encouraged to attend the conference as it is an engaging environment for both practitioners and academics involved in institutional real estate research.
A Board Committee will review nominations and select recipients, who will be notified no later than Friday, March 18, 2022.
